Lovely welcoming B&B, large room with very comfortable bed and lots of great extras like a fridge (honestly so nice to be able to have cold drinks when wanted when it's warm) and USB changing by the bed. The bedroom and bathroom were spotless, breakfast was delicious and the location is just great. Oh, and Sam the dog is adorable! Thank you for a lovely stay. Highly recommend!

The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. I arrived later than my stated time. Not only did they wait before closing, but hey upgraded me to a larger room.

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the white lion. The bed was super comfy. The landlord and landlady were incredibly welcoming, showing me around the property and explaining the house rules! I honestly couldn’t fault anything about my stay. A truly relaxed location. I just wished I could have stayed longer in the morning to enjoy the breakfast but I had to leave super early. And despite arriving after their pub kitchen had closed, I was still offered food if wanted.

From first contact with Eileen, through our entire stay, we couldn’t have asked for more. The place is incredible, as well as the service and care that is given by Eileen. Really cannot say enough to show how spectacular this B&B is. Comfortable bed and accommodations with every little detail thought of. Incredible breakfast delivered in picnic basket. Really, there’s nothing that is not done exceptionally. Of all the places we stayed over the course of a week, this was heads above everything else. We were pampered beyond our expectations.

Astwell Mill was wonderful! I was very jetlagged, and had needed a place to catch up on sleep near my daughter, whose family had just tested positive for Covid. Not only was the B&B exceptionally beautiful indoors and out, and the breakfast perfect, but the hosts were extremely welcoming and friendly. Highly recommended.
