Breakfast was excellent. The hotel is a little remote but there’s not much opposition in that area. Good parking. Satnav wouldn’t accept postcode so head for Wheyrigg city centre and it will take you right there.

It's a great quiet country location, plenty of parking, and a friendly characterful family run pub-hotel-restaurant. This is the 3rd year we have stayed here whilst touring. We ate in for supper & breakfast and the food was good and plenty of it. The room was fine. We'll be back next year if we come this way again!

The staff carried out their duties professionally and expertly. they went about their routines with smiles on their faces and were exceptionally friendly. our towels were changed daily and tea, coffee, milk biscuits refilled everyday. cleanliness was outstanding and room was extremely comfortable. our room actually had a heated, reclining massage chair which added a touch of luxury to the room. The food was delicious and substantial. Lots of menu choice at every meal. something for everyone.

The staff were lovely and made us feel very welcome. We had homemade steak pies for our evening meal, which were absolutely suoerb. The full English breakfast was also very nice. The location was great with lovely views over farm fields, and there was plenty of private parking.
