The hosts were very welcoming and friendly. A variety of continental or cooked breakfasts were available, and all was delicious. The location is ideal; situated at an important intersection in West Runton, it is a few minutes' walk away from the rail stop with links to Cromer as well as to Norwich. Parking is available on street or off street, and the owners are always there to assist in finding you parking. Cromer is four minutes away by train and is delightful with its pier and sandy beaches, as well as its picturesque houses and wonderful restaurants. The Corner House B and B is a destination point for the community - serving delicious lunches and tea from 9 am to 4 pm. It's also about a ten minute walk from the West Runton beach, which has beautiful sands with rock pools. We stayed in the Cromer Room, with its little dormer window and couch that overlooked the town and the sea in the distance. We found the room to be bright and cozy, with a comfortable queen sized bed and a great, bright ensuite bathroom with walk in shower. We arrived before 4 pm and were served our choice of a slice of delicious cake with tea. Our room had complimentary sherry, bottled water and biscuits. We can't say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay, and wish we could have stayed longer in this resort area!
