Location very good with walking distance to central village with lot of pubs and restaurants. Also nice beach walk with access directly beneath the B&B. Very nice and helpful owners. Holway House is a wonderful place---it is tremendous value for money, considering how nice a place it is. Hosts Lucy and John were extremely welcoming (Lucy said this is their life, and their dedication to it showed at every turn), and my room and public quarters were clean and tastefully decorated, with lots of power outlets and a rubbish bin in both the bathroom and the room (a pet peeve). There was also housekeeping every day, so I returned after my first morning to a fresh carafe of water and replenished coffees and teas, as well as fresh towels, which seemed like a rare perk considering how affordable Holway House is. Breakfast was delicious, especially Lucy's mother's homemade greengage and pink gooseberry jams, and it was really nice to be able to have a delicious fruit salad with yoghurt and granola as well as a cooked breakfast. Lucy also chatted to all guests in such a warm way as to make everyone friendly with each other. The location is also very convenient to the Sheringham stations for Network Rail AND the North Norfolk Poppy Line, as well as to the rest of Sheringham. I'd love to stay at Holway House again---my thanks again to Lucy and John for their hospitality.
