Location was perfect for purpose. All staff super friendly and welcoming and always went the extra for every need - from a safety pin to a berocca in the morning after the night before! Variety of food on offer and was enjoyed by all. Breakfast had a few options however the cooked breakfast did the trick every morning. Would highly recommend staying at The Star and would definitely stay again - thank you so much to Leah and all the staff for making our stay enjoyable and comfortable

We absolutely loved staying at The Forge! We stayed in the Plucking Room and the bed was SO COMFY! The room was very well equipped and everything was thought of. The hot tub was AMAZING and Liz was very helpful and accommodating! Really good quality breakfast ingredients and very tasty home made treats. The area is lovely with two really nice pubs down the road. We 100% recommend and already booked again.

We enjoyed our 3 night stay in the Superior Family room very much. This is a feel good, cosy place, run by two friendly owners. Highlight is the traditional breakfast, being served in the beautiful central room. Appreciated the coffee and cookies in the room as well. Location is perfect, on walking distance to centre with lots of shops and restaurants.
