Nice big room, very clean, super friendly staff that go the extra mile to make you feel welcome. I was arriving on Sunday and they gave me a call upfront to let me know the kitchen was closing at 5pm in case I wanted to eat. Very thoughtfull. The English breakfast is great, the rest of the breakfast was perhaps a bit too simple, but what can you expect with a good price like that. All in all above expectations considering the price.

    Great location, great breakfast, interesting and quirky old fashioned hotel with lots of charm and a lovely garden. Wouldn't look put of place in an Agatha Christie style film! Spotlessly clean and comfy bed, very quiet location, slept well during my stay. Tea, coffee and water topped up every day and there was plenty of it.

    Location - country location in a small town, easy to find, great parking and a very warm welcome. Facilities - beautiful house with private gardens. Room - we had a garden view which was much appreciated. Supper - B&B style food but excellent quality, more than sufficient and presented, cooked beautifully. Staff - warm, professional and very friendly. Large, spacious, comfortable room. Quiet location - no traffic at all. Excellent bed, very comfortable.
