Breakfast was excellent with a full English breakfast very well cooked and presented. I also enjoyed the evening meal of Lamb Rump; the chef is to be congratulated on presenting an excellent meal. The choice of real ale beers at the bar was also great. The staff were very friendly and attentive.

Welcoming host. Fabulous clean room with a view of the sheep grazing in the next-door field. Was quiet and calming. Bed was really comfortable with stunning Egyptian Cotton linen. Slept a full night for the first time in ages. Convenient location as shops and pubs just down the road. Breakfast was exceptional.

Great location although car park very hard to find. I gather it has a different post code to the hotel - would have been good to know before arrival! Staff friendly. Very central and close to Powis Castle. Room quiet even though centre of town. Able to open windows.

Nicely situated in a green dell with great specimen trees, flowering shrubs, and plants we did not expect in Wales! A great old house with beautiful interiors, modern decor and twists making good use of old features. Great hosts and excellent breakfasts.

As stated in the name; the view was excellent! We were lucky to get some lovely sunshine which definitely made the view extra special. Caroline was a great host, nice and friendly to talk to and the extras upon arrival were a nice touch. We like that it is pet friendly and we were able to take our dog, it was lovely to meet Caroline's dogs, cat and chickens too. It is a good location, very quiet and only a short drive into Welshpool town or Montgomery.

Old fashioned comfort. Very friendly people, quiet room also at night, comfortable bed, pillows and bed linen, mira shower in bath, excellent breakfast (e.g. thick bacon rashes not over cooked, tasty pork sausage, two deep yellow yoke poached eggs, proper coffee that wasn't too weak). It was unclear if I needed the room for a second night, they were happy to reserve the room for me. As it happens I didn't need a second night. A very friendly B&B this is, highly recommended.
