Nice location, clean & great food with friendly service.
For travellers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms may be shared by other guests, and there is often shared space with the host.
What a little gem of a place. Great hosts, nothing too much trouble. Situated by Vigo Bridge, easy walk to Tavistock centre, able to park there, and although our room was small, it was comfortable, cosy, pristine & had everything you could need ( including bathrobes & a fan) with a modern private bathroom. The breakfast was delicious,& filling. This place is fantastic value for money. I would return in a heartbeat.
The cottage itself is lovely, comfortable, quiet and well equipped. The garden is delightful and peaceful too.
Chris and Sara were great hosts - helpful and friendly. The location is within an easy drive of Tavistock, one of the best market towns we've ever been to, and within that special western end of Dartmoor - so there's plenty to see and do.
The location was fine in the towm centre close to amenities, the room was clean with a large bathroom tea coffee etc private entrance to hotel, from side of building very quiet at night not much noise from pub
