A lovely host, who provided ideas for local restaurants and was able to book for us. A very nice breakfast (continental and cooked) was provided each morning. We received a warm welcome on arrival and a friendly send off when we departed.

Fantastic. Full of history and intrigue with so much character. The food and drink was absolutely superb and the staff could not have been any better.

The rooms are warm& cosy,beds were very comfortable, we had 3 rooms for our family, everyone loved spotless white bedding& towels, tea/coffee making, room service exceptional, nothing too much trouble, friendly& helpful ladies, Breakfast was lovely cooked to order, Restaurant manager Toshi was very attentive, and friendly, We would highly recommend The Cornish Arms , All the staff were excellent.

The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful and the breakfast really delicious. Sadly we didn't have the time to try the delicious sounding dinner or lunch menu but hope to next time.

Welcoming host. Spacious room, everything needed & a decent shower for reviving the weary traveller in the morning! Excellent breakfast. Cereal, croissants, fresh fruit salad / Greek yogurt, toast and a full English breakfast available. I opted for a glass of orange juice, fresh fruit salad with Greek yogurt, then a cooked breakfast, plus coffee. That set me up for the day. Also our stay was great value.
Such a beautiful setting for a relaxing break, the Old Barn is set in lovely countryside with amazing views.
Friendly welcome from hosts, super quick response on message. Lovely to meet Georgina and David along with Lab Misty & Casper the cat.
Parking on site, private entrance, peaceful and quiet. Well equipped with everything you could possibly need. Clean and tidy.

Property surrounded by countryside, beautiful and quiet. Lovely friendly hosts provided tea, coffee,milk and biscuits, just what is needed on arrival! Good internet connection , efficient heating if required. Both bedrooms have a private bathroom and the property has a separate toilet in the living area so never a queue to use the facilities, ideal!
