Fantastic place to stay! Loft room was incredible with excellent continental breakfast. Even blueberry muffins! Lots of place to spread out. Heated tiles in bath. Not close to restaurants if without car, but lots of takeaway delivery. My food that was delivered was excellent! Sara is an amazing host who really cares about her guests. Highly recommend!

I often have an idea of what a place will be like and how the room will be often to find it’s shabby or we are stuck with a view of the car park. However we had a lovely room where both children actually had a bed each. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Great location for Gloucester and Stroud. Even found an outdoor pool for the kids not too far away. Considering it’s a pub near a train line (clues in the name 😉) not one of us had issues sleeping which is a first. Very quiet at night. Excellent food.
