The breakfast was good including a fresh milk and orange juice and berries in a mini fridge in the room. Pre packaged croissants, cereal, and other packaged items in the room allow guests to time and create their own breakfast. The coffee was also a make your own set up with capsules to make by the cup. It was not as good as having fresh brewed coffee made to order but okay. The bathroom we had was beautiful, spacious, and charming with a claw foot bathtub and separate shower, and a very short walk down the hall. The windows in the bathroom and the room offered dreamy views of the surrounds of the property. Host Lexie was helpful in helping us choose and make a dinner reservation. As we departed, host Pete made sure we had the help we needed and chatted with us. The doors, windows, brick and shingle work of the home have wonderful craftsmanship details, making a stay in the area feel authentic and pleasing.

Everything. The room was lovely. Very clean. I had dinner and it was lovely. The staff was brilliant, attentive but not overbearing, friendly and explained the menu. Breakfast was freshly cooked and delish. They let me keep my bike in the pool room overnight. Friendly, relaxed atmosphere. Hospitality at its best. Thank you!

Wonderful place with the perfect hosts. Lexie and Pete are so welcoming and can't do enough for their guests. The room and gardens are so beautiful and the location gorgeous. Everything was spotlessly clean. It was more like a boutique hotel than a b and b really! I will be back.

We had a very enjoyable stay and were made welcome throughout. Breakfast is in the room which is quite acceptable as the room is large and gracious and one can sit by the window view. The refrigerator makes sure there is fresh fruit, yoghurt and milk.
