The room was clean and spacious with a good bathroom. The pub has excellent food and a good choice of refreshments. The jewel in the crown was the amazing welcome and friendliness of the staff. I cannot overstate how amazing the staff and owners were and I never expected to be playing card games with the locals in such a warm, inviting and impressive pub. In the words of Arnie, I’ll be back!

Excellent breakfast. I could not fault it. Good shower. Firm bed and comfortable. Kathy was a fine host. She went the extra mile to recommend restaurants providing their post codes and telephone numbers etc. The refrigerator on the landing was ideal for storing my packed lunches. I would use the same b&b if ever I am in the area. Thank you for a comfortable stay.

Our 4-poster room was large and had lots of Elizabethan character. Breakfast was excellent, though it did involve deciding the previous day what to have for breakfast the next morning. Lovely village.

Everyone was very welcoming and helpful. We allso had a evening meal there and it was lovely and very good value for money. The room we stayed in was very quiet and is at the far end of the car park. My wife had the continental breakfast and I had the full English breakfast it was lovely. This is the second time we have stayed hear and we Will be back again.
Just loved the unusual aspect of this property ,It was on its own extremely quiet ,beautiful place to sit away from the world . great walks from the property as well
Breakfast was excellent and was served at times of my choice. The room was comfortable, clean and quiet. The free WiFi was easy to access. Ample free car parking.
The room was nice, had my own bathroom and kettle, TV, wifi etc... I was visiting my son for the day who lives with his Mum nearby, the park was good fro my son. It would have been nice if there was a sing there. Bar maid and the fish and chips I had were very nice, not the cheapest but nice which mad up for it. I would stay here again.
Perfect location as a base to explore Kent and its attractions. Quiet, peaceful rural setting, with generous and hospitable host. Very comfortable and spacious with all mod cons. Would love to stay there again and would stay longer next time.
The welcome was friendly and the breakfast was lovely. A great location and we liked the idea of the bedroom huts, having our own front door. The room was clean with a kettle, water and biscuits👍
Local Pub, which serves the community with friendly publican and staff. Plenty of parking. Clean and tidy accommodation with excellent breakfast, we enjoyed our stay and felt welcomed.
