I am a repeat visitor to the Riseden. The location was the initial attraction as I’ve family close by. Now I know I can book and be sure of a warm welcome. Everywhere is spotless, comfortable beds and linens. Updated modern bathrooms. All you need to make a cup or tea or coffee in your room. Nice extra touches like a hair dryer and ironing board. Lots of clothes hangers and storage if your stay is week long. Delicious breakfasts served in a sunny and bright room with garden views. A community fridge if you need one

The welcome was friendly and the breakfast was lovely. A great location and we liked the idea of the bedroom huts, having our own front door. The room was clean with a kettle, water and biscuits👍

The room was very comfortable. I often visit this area and so would willingly stay here again. The room was away from the main building. A comfortable little room. The breakfast was freshly prepared and beautifully cooked. I visited in the winter months. There is a lovely private little patio with a bistro set for the occupance use. Ideal for the summer.

The staff were really helpful and friendly. We spent a pleasant afternoon in the pub. The room was great for the price, spotless and quiet and we had a really good nights sleep. The staff were very helpful giving us details of local cabs so that we could attend a function - this was helpful as we were able to book in advance. There was plenty of parking - sadly we didn't have the breakfast as we ate a large meal the night before but they did offer a good selection.

This is a wonderful place to forget the hurly-burly of modern life. It is quiet, extremely comfortable and very well equipped. The 'breakfast box' is really good value for money and the little mini-bar a super idea. The hot tub is great (but do follow Ed's guidance on feeding the fire) and it was a joyous experience to laze in the hot tub whilst watching the Swallows putting on a magnificent display above our heads. The hosts are friendly and informative but not intrusive.
