In our 6 weeks of travel in UK, this was our absolute favorite lodging. It was perfect. We loved the breakfast, the offering of dinner salads from local produce, afternoon tea, luxurious room, walk to Sissinghurst gardens, view of Sissinghurst tower & sheep pasture from our large “Sissinghurst” room. All the rooms have special names. Gracious, Lovely & accommodating staff and host. Thank you so much for everything!

Firstly staff were exceptional, from lady we met on our late arrival on our first night & exceptionally really nice, friendly & helpful guy that looked after us at breakfast & staff who looked after us for dinner - 10 out of 10 to them all. Staff were welcoming to my family, we had 3 rooms booked. All the rooms were clean and comfortable. Dinner and breakfast were thoroughly enjoyed not just for taste, but atmosphere.

Lovely secluded property - separate living/dining area from the bedroom, making the property a great size. There is also a very well kept garden which we were not expecting. Host was friendly and flexible.

We had wonderful stay at Garden studio. The accommodation has everything that you need and more. Host was very thoughtful and caring, made us feel at home, and look after us whilst we were there. Goudhurst is a beautiful village full of charm, with walks all around. Will visit and stay again .

Fabulous family run pub. Good food, super comfy bed and an extra friendly cat. I had a lovely stay and would absolutely recommend the Hawkenbury to other travellers visiting this part of Kent.
