Marnie was a wonderful host and offered great suggestions for day trips. Goonearl is centrally located for all the wonderful attractions. The guest house itself has great communal cooking facilities and comfortable shared lounges and dining. Complimentary coffee tea and pastries and fruit was a nice touch. Good to have a washing machine to use to. The bedroom was comfortable and very clean and the balcony looked over the beautiful garden. As a single traveller I felt safe and comfortable. This would be a great place for a group booking with lots of board games and books to read. A haven to get back to after a day out sight seeing. Only 2 km to the local beach..

Michelle is very kind and told me very efficiently, what I needed to know during my stay. I found this particularly notable as I called at 7:30pm, looking for a place to stay. I came just before the 10pm check-in cut-off and considering that I am not a night owl, it is amazing how clearly Michelle explained everything.

What a cracking find this was. It’s set off the main road and down a gravel track but when you get there it’s worth it. Plenty of free parking and it is so peaceful. My room was clean , comfortable and had everything you could possibly need. A large continental breakfast is available with lots to choose from. The walk in shower was just great. Will stay again for sure.
