Great location, as it is right on the side of the mountain but within easy walking distance of Newport town with its shops and pubs. It was cosy and warm with a wood burning stove and John kept us well supplied with wood. The kitchen was clean and had everything we needed, and everything was very comfortable. I enjoyed the thoughtful reading lights everywhere and my daughters enjoyed the wi-fi and smart tv.

We liked everything! The shower is probably the best shower I've ever used. Isobel was so lovely and brought us through awesome breakfasts in the morning, easily catering for vegans! The bed is super comfy, the space feels private and we appreciated the tips in the booklet. The surrounding area is also beautiful, we were super lucky with the weather and managed to get a dip in the sea (in and out very quickly!). There are some great places to eat and drink in Newport and the whole place is totally charming.
