The hosts were extremely professional, polite, welcoming and generous. We were offered a cup of tea and cake on arrival and a fire was lit in the evening for us to read by. The staff were incredibly kind and made us feel that nothing was too much! Nicola the manager made us feel right at home. The property was period so it may seem outdated to others but we loved the historical side of the B&B. We loved the food (both dinner and breakfast) - the burger on the menu was to die for! We were part of a wedding party and felt awful for setting their fire alarm first thing in the morning due to steaming a dress, they were so lovely about it and saw the funny side. I even had a call when I got home to learn that I had left a cheap necklace in the room and they were going to send it to me via post. I would certainly stay here again! Thank you to the team there!
