the staff were amazing. they had just experienced a kitchen fire three weeks before our arrival so unfortunately the dining room was closed. they took great care of us and made breakfast arrangements at a nearby hotel. we could just imagine what the ambiance would have been had they been fully operational. would love to return just to see how they are making out. one if the nicest and warmest experiences we have had.

Beyond the old-age charm and delectable breakfasts, Aylworth Manor offers a wealth of opportunities for relaxation and recreation. The tranquil gardens provide the perfect setting for a leisurely stroll, while the surrounding countryside and charming villages are perfect for sunny day walks. Truly enjoyed our 2 night stay here and will definitely recommend to anyone looking for an English countryside experience.

Location was perfect - a modestly sized bed and breakfast alone in the country, far away from the hubbub of people and traffic yet central to the numerous towns that populate the Cotswolds. The manor was precisely what I was hoping for - a quaint, gently aged-looking place on the outside while clean, tidy, and charming within. And the landscaping was wonderful - healthy, richly varied flowering plants and shrubs. The breakfast was a delight - a full serving board with eggs very well made to order, all with personal wait service.

Dove Cottage is in a quiet and pretty location within driving distance of many other villages. It was lovely to have milk in the fridge, chocolates and prosecco, and everything we needed in the kitchen. There aren't many food shops or supermarkets nearby so bear that in mind when out and about or take some provisions with you. The cottage was clean and comfortable with a small garden in the front. I would recommend this for a short break.

This was undoubtedly the best B and B we've ever stayed in. The location and house were stunning, with beautiful gardens and views all around in a delightfully quiet spot in the Cotswolds. It was also convenient for visiting all the Cotswolds 'gems'. The owners, Jo and Johnny, were very welcoming and friendly and this helped to make our stay most enjoyable. The breakfasts were very good too, with a lovely selection of fruits and wide choice for a delicious cooked breakfast as well.
