My wife and I really loved this B&B. It was a very beautiful place. My wife especially liked the decorations and surroundings. Our host, Kay, was great and accommodated all of our needs. She also had good recommendations for dining and sites to see. Breakfast each morning was prepared exactly how we liked it. My wife and I were very happy we stayed here.

Cheap and cheerful. Lovely staff. Parking was busy but we could use a car park across the road. They had a function on with people who parked pretty badly blocking a few spaces. The beds were actually really comfortable. It was relatively quiet in our room which was furthest away from the bar. Shower had great pressure. Good tea/coffee facilities. Nice easy walk into town. The full breakfast looked good.

Charming & quirky building with lots of corners & lots of stairs situated right in Monmouth town centre but still quiet. We arrived on a Sunday afternoon so the cafe was shut but instructions on using the key safe were simple. No problems.

The location was just 2 miles away from Tintern Abbey and Village with the river Wye running alongside. The cottage itself was private and so roomy considering it was one bed. Cosy, quaint and full of character.,
