The room was really well equipped - those little things like range of soaps, disposable toothbrushes, choice of teas and fresh milk etc etc The owners were supper friendly and put on great breakfast for us, including vegetarian options..

The Chicken, Ham and leek pie was delicious, very evidently home made. The mash and veg with it were also excellent, I like my veg and it's a rarity to get them cooked so perfectly. The Banoffee pie was definitely not necessary but equally delicious. My newly decorated room was spotless and the brand new bed vey comfortable. What can I say; I think they should get awards for their food. I was still full the following morning but I had an early start and would be out in the wilds all day, so had to refill, the Breakfast was just too good !!! Obviously locally sourced and all excellent.

The room was incredible! So big and comfortable and spotlessly clean. The location was lovely, right on the seafront. Parking was ample, and was able to check in when we asked too.

This was the best B&B we stayed in during our trip through the UK. Every little detail is covered!Spacious, beautifully decorated rooms with smartTV, wireless charger & USB charger, beautiful views, amazing bed. I could go on for a while ;) Freshly cooked breakfast which was absolutely delicious. Great facilities such as a Cinema room with an honesty bar, including some cheese and nibbles making a nice light meal. EV charger worked seamlessly & at a fair price. Would definitely come back!

We loved staying with Sandra, Martin and Nellie. They were full of information about things to see and do, as well as the local area, which was interesting! Great walk to the beach, look out point and back!

Welcoming hosts, excellent breakfast, nice attention to detail, well equipped room which was very clean. Beautiful garden, great location for exploring the local area.
The couple who run it are super friendly and great hosts. The house is easy to find, in a great location, decent parking on the street. They serve breakfast at a time convenient to you and its a very comfy place to stay.

The accommodation is charming with a beautiful hidden 'secret' garden laid out with chairs to relax in & a comfortable garden room equipped with honesty fridge goodies.

I came to minehead for a running race. The house is in a great location. My room is super clean and has everything I need and is quiet at night. The owner Peter is very warm& friendly and made me feel welcomed. The breakfast was amazing too. All in all, I had a great time staying there and can highly recommend to anyone visiting minehead!

Great location, extremely good value single room, super clean, comfy bed, lovely pub with lovely staff, excellent breakfast, which was included in the price of the room.
I booked the room because it was cheap and the reviews were good, but it exceeded ny expectations immensely.
I strongly recommend the Old Ship Aground and will definitely book again if I come back to Minehead.
