David and Carol were very welcoming. The location is just breathtaking. Love the tour of the house along with all day breakfast concept. The booklet of the things to do in that State and near us along with all the details of restaurants and cuisines with menu was a cherry on the top. Love that the hosts went the extra mile to make us feel very comfortable.

I have traveled around majority or Europe working and l can honestly say "Heron House" is by no means 100%. I only stayed one night but l felt so comfortable and relaxed. Cleanness is second to none! We can't say enough good things about the Black Dog Inn. It's location is very remote, in the country, sheep right in the backyard. It is above a pub which I though strange at first, but it's part of the charm and the pub closes early and is not loud at all -- very friendly and welcoming. The room was SO cute and cozy, the bathroom was well appointed and clean as well. The breakfast was great, made right to your order. The staff were so nice and helpful and friendly. A very homey place. The charm of a B&B without feeling like you're intruding in someone else's home. OUR FAVORITE STAY OF OUR 2 WEEK TRIP
