My room was exactly like in the pictures, lovely and clean. Alison and Victor are really kind and helpful. The view from the room was wonderful, I saw the rocks and the channel. Probably it's a matter of chance, but I met their quiet and kind people, they held each other in respect, no disturbing behaviour, noise..stc. Now I understand why they got so high rates for the breakfast: they offer wide and really good range of meals - suitable for vegetarians, even vegans too, guests can leave them their choices on a form previous evening. I tried about 4 kind of breakfast and everything was great.

My wife and I had the pleasure of staying at High Cliff House in Lynton during our journey through the stunning landscapes of South England. Without a doubt, this was the most beautiful and inviting place we have ever experienced. From the moment we arrived, we were spellbound by the immaculate decor and cleanliness that greeted us. Our room was an absolute delight - spacious, cozy, and impeccably neat. The interior design and breathtaking views from our window left us in awe. We could not have asked for a more delightful setting to unwind and soak in the picturesque surroundings. What truly sets High Cliff House apart is the warmth and kindness of the owners. They were incredibly friendly and attentive, always ready to assist with anything we needed. We instantly felt at home in their presence, and their genuine hospitality made our stay even more memorable. Regrettably, we couldn't extend our visit as much as we would have liked, as we were captivated by the heavenly breakfast. It was a delight for the senses, and we savored every moment of it. Rest assured, we have already vowed to return to High Cliff House for a longer stay. It's a place that has stolen our hearts, and we cannot wait to relive the enchantment and create more cherished memories. Thank you, High Cliff House, for making our stay an extraordinary one! We wholeheartedly recommend this charming haven to anyone seeking an unforgettable escape amidst nature's beauty and genuine hospitality.

Great location. Loved the cosy house with a lot of space for us to move around. There was a private path leading to the town centre and beach. So that was very convenient. Very friendly host who made sure everything was available for us.

This is a charming, small, private hotel (only 7 rooms) managed by two ladies who do everything and provide a homely service. Excellent breakfasts. The one dinner we had there was similarly excellent. Breakfast and dinner must be booked in advance which sounds a little quirky until you see how it enables the two ladies to have the meals prepared just right with the freshest ingredients.
