I was at a wedding all day and therefore had no service to call or receive calls. We couldn’t check in until closer to 12am. They were closed and we panicked a bit when we got there. But they taped an envelope to the door with my name on it which had the check in instructions and an apology for not being able to get a hold of us. Sweet staff. Everything was great. Breakfast was *chefs kiss.*

a little hard to find however Hillary the owner gave excellent directions, a beautiful place, well furnished room, comfortable and clean, fabulous host, the best nights sleep in ages, great breakfast - you can have a choice and wonderful scenery, so peaceful and so welcoming, thank you Hillary

Clean, comfortable, great mirror in the bathroom! Heaters were on when I got into to the room so it was lovely and warm!

Room was very clean, with tea and coffee making facilities and a tv. Bathroom was small but adequate and very clean. I didnt get to use the Spa as we were at a party and had to get back early in the morning.

We stayed in this accommodation for one month. Raz the host was a gem of a person. Very friendly and welcoming. We got what we really wanted..peaceful stay and complete privacy. He was ready to help ,very responsive. Will definitely recommend it to family and friends.

A perfect country pub both for locals and visitors. Well situated, being in the countryside but not far from major routes and East Midlands Airport. The staff were outstanding, both friendly and efficient. Over the three nights of our stay it was good to see the seamless teamwork that made us feel so very comfortable. The food - both breakfasts, snacks and dinners were all delicious, freshly cooked and not just the same old standards found elsewhere. We will be back on our next trip to see family in the area.
