The Roost was an absolute godsend, following a mad scramble to find a new room at the last minute. The room was perfect, the entry system secure and easy. Facilities were lovely. Breakfast was a lovely suprise. Parking was secure. Hosts were lovely. 10/10

For travellers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms may be shared by other guests, and there is often shared space with the host.
Location was close to town facilities eg restaurants, pubs. House extremely attractive and the furnishings. Breakfast included fresh fruit, cereal and cooked which was first class.
We had an excellent week. The location is perfect for shops, train station , pubs , etc … The house had everything we needed, very comfy bed, quiet area. Good base for walking more of the Welsh coast path . Local Filco supermarket has an excellent deli selling fab pies and lasagne.
Really an experience. Paula is an amazing host taking really good care of you. House and rooms with a cinematographic quality. Very spacious room with a lot of little charming nooks. Nice bathtub. Speedy wifi. And the breakfast (in front of a fireplace) to die for. Pity we had to rush to catch a plane.
Large bedroom, nice bathroom. Excellent breakfast. Quirky old house with lots of interesting features. Paula was lovely and very welcoming. She even took us to our restaurant for our evening meal as it was raining. Location close to town.
Well equipped kitchen for self-catering. Comfortable. Good value for money. Quiet, despite being within a couple of minutes' walk from the town centre.
Great location for what we wanted. Visiting family. Llantwit Major is a friendly village and close to the sea. The apartment was huge. The bed was very comfortable but would recommend not going to bed before the pub closes especially if there a noisy crowd.
The whole house was very well presented & spotlessly clean. Bedrooms were big & beds were very comfy. Wanted to bring the beds home!
The decor was fantastic, we made good use of the games & records.
In a very quiet location, with friendly neighbours.
