The breakfast was excellent and the breakfast-room was so beautifully presented! Sid and Rachel were amazing hosts and provided us with many area sightseeing ideas. The countryside and family marina at the Ty Newydd B & B was better than the best!! I will recommend this wonderful vacation home to all my family and friends as a Must STAY for beauty and elegance. We were seeing the countryside of my ancestors from Wales. It has been the high point of our entire trip! We are intending to come back and stay another time and explore even more of the Brecon National park.

Breakfast was cooked by the owners, which we appreciated greatly, and dinners were found in the historic village of Crickhowell, which is only a 6 minute drive away. The Inn is well-placed to explore Brecon Beacons National Park by car or bicycle, with quiet country lanes starting literally over the road.

Oh, what a treat our stay at Tegfan Garden Suite was! Not only was the cottage tastefully designed with a wonderfully outfitted kitchen but our hosts Helen and John were exceptional as well. We arrived for our three night stay without any agenda. Helen gave us two well thought out days of activities with excellent dining suggestions as well. We didn't have to plan a thing. The welsh products provided were delicious, delightfully including the products made by Helen. Breakfast from the provisions was a treat. We were lucky enough to be there during lambing season. My husband loves lamb and bought some chops from the local butcher (who has a very nice selections of cheese, pies, olive oils, etc. in addition to meat). John arranged for us to use a fire pit including logs to linger outside after we barbecued the chops. It was lovely. I can't imagine there would have been anywhere nicer to stay and enjoy the Brecon Beacons area.

The location of this beautiful converted granary was perfect for exploring Brecon Beacons and Black Mountains. Our breakfast was fabulous with lots of choice and all presented and cooked to a exceptional standard. Our room was fantastic with the most wonderful bathroom! Joyce and Ray were brilliant hosts and gave us lots of information about the area to explore and where to eat out.

Great Location - very nice village with excellent volunteer run shop and coffee, 2 good pubs, especially The Castle, and walking distance of a lovely lake. The parking by the property is a definite bonus as the roads can get crowded with cars.
