Plas Esgair is a Grade II listed Georgian mansion located on the outskirts of Llanbrynmair in the heart of mid Wales. Set in 6 acres of garden, woodland and paddock, every room has views of the surrounding Cambrian Mountains and foothills or a view of the gardens.

A highlight for us was eating a delicious breakfast in a beautifully furnished and decorated dining room with a view across the valley.

Just 15 miles from Snowdonia National Park, The Old School House B&B offers 4-star guest accommodation in the beautiful Pennant Valley. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout, and there is free parking on site.

Karen and Bernie were wonderfully welcoming and hospitable. Not only did Karen cook the most heavenly dinner for us the day we arrived, she also put out a birthday card and candles for my husband when she found out it was his birthday. Talk about going the extra mile!

Moelfre is in a beautiful location. After a long drive we received a warm welcome and shown to our rooms. Our rooms were very clean and very comfortable. I will be recommending Moelfre to all my family and friends. Wished we could have stayed longer.

The spacious, refurbished bedrooms at Aleppo each have tea and coffee facilities, a TV and radio. All rooms have a private bathroom and plenty of storage space, and some have scenic views.

A generous cooked breakfast is served daily in the bright and airy dining room. The Lounge Bar serves a varied menu and homemade specials, and the 3 cosy bar areas offer beverages and snacks.

Would recommend , I've stayed there often with no complaints whats so ever

At the bed and breakfast, each unit comes with a desk and a flat-screen TV. With a private bathroom equipped with a walk-in shower and bathrobes, units at the bed and breakfast also offer free WiFi. At the bed and breakfast, every unit has bed linen and towels.

Lake Vyrnwy is 49 km from the bed and breakfast, while Maesmawr Golf Club is 11 km away. The nearest airport is Liverpool John Lennon Airport, 147 km from Cambrian House B & B.

The B and B is adorable and incredibly well appointed - You can feel the love that went into crafting it! The rooms were wonderful, the breakfast were sublime, my only annoyance is that I didn't stay long enough!

What a fabulous property run by two great hosts! The building and its location were great. Lovely countryside surroundings, very peaceful/quiet and within easy reach of Snowdonia and the north west coast. Martin and Robin made us feel very welcome and offered us use of living room with a lit open fire, honesty bar, dinner if needed and even little extras such as a torch in case we got caught out walking back in the dark. Breakfast was delicious too. We'd stay again without hesitation.

Plas Esgair is a delightful "private home" to stay. You are welcomed in a charming place by Martin, who - while you stay there - is going out of his way to help you. He is a very good chef (the fish dish is excellent), and has many helpful tips for great tours. We loved staying at Plas Esgair, and will certainly go there again.

Plas Esgair is a listed, lovely old Georgian building set in a quiet part of the countryside surrounded by lovely rolling hills. It's an ongoing restoration project but all the rooms modernised so far are beautifully decorated and comfortably furnished. The welcome and hospitality from host Martin is second to none - as is his cooking with excellent breakfast and evening meal options. We would happily stay again and thoroughly recommend Plas Esgair as a place to get away from it all.
