Around 10 minutes’ drive from historical Holt, The Old Forge Seafood Restaurant and Bed and Breakfast provides accommodation and expertly prepared food in Norfolk. This 14th-century building has free on-site parking and free Wi-Fi.

Breakfast would have been better with 2 rashers of bacon or sausage or egg, and an option for bread and butter or toast, but on the whole a good start to the day.

Located a short 6 minute walk from The Globe Inn, Arch House Rooms offer home from home accommodation, with an additional 10 comfortable, light and airy bedrooms, a private terrace and car park.

Our rooms located at either in the pub, or around our courtyard area often enjoy a fun and lively atmosphere. Should you prefer rooms away from the pub, Arch House Rooms offer a quieter environment, and include parking at the rear of the building.

The Globe is a welcoming hotel situated in the heart of Wells, next to the park. The room we had was comfortable, tidy, clean, spacious and with modern facilities. Despite being above the central seating area it was very quiet in the late evening. The bar meal of fish and chips was excellent, and it was a pleasure to sit out in the June evening and enjoy the convivial atmosphere. The full English breakfast was hearty and of high quality with all the usual trimmings. Importantly, we appreciated the great service during our stay and particularly that of Max, the manager, who took the time to give us some insight into his hotel. It’s clear that a lot of thought, care and attention has gone into making this place very hospitable. We look forward to returning soon.

Quirky, quaint and beautiful. Comfy bed and lovely to be greeted with the tinkling of piano playing as we came down for breakfast. Really lovely host who left a birthday gift for my partner. The property is stunning, and full of character, room was immaculate and charming.

The cleanliness. The friendly staff. Excellent breakfast and the uniqueness of the hotel. As for the price of the room. It seemed ridiculously cheap. I would thoroughly recommend

Great location, though parking could be a problem. The (bunk) bed was really comfy, room was spotlessly clean, the bathroom wasn't en suite but plenty of showers and toilets were available. Breakfast was delicious and staff were charming

Very friendly staff; very comfortable room; clean warm bathroom with large fluffy towels; limited but delicious evening menu; excellent breakfast. It’s a proper village pub, not a posh boutique hotel, with a great atmosphere and not too noisy for us to be able to sleep. A perfect location for a Norfolk holiday. We will book again next year for our annual trip.
