as there were maintenance issues in my room (shower head not operating, plumbing issues when flushing toilet), when I communicated these to the person at the desk they said they new about the maintenance issues and were waiting for someone to attend. I wondered why, as a guest, affected by this, I was not informed of what to expect.

OK but not brilliant. Check in was quick and easy and room was an upgrade as it had an ensuite. Plenty of tea and coffee available, apple and orange juice, boxed cereals and chocolate croissants.

Great location for the wedding venue we were going to. Our room was huge and beautiful, the bathroom was the size of most main hotel rooms! It was nice and quiet and very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent too. We would definitely stay here again. Excellent value for money compared to other local places to stay.

This is a beautiful old building in a town on the edge of Bristol and convenient also for Bath. My room was cozy and quiet facing away from the road. The staff could not have been more charming and helpful. Breakfast was great as well
