Clean, surprisingly quiet (given the A19 runs passed the property) and the staff were all excellent.

Pretty much everything 😁 service was superb from the minute I arrived. Relaxed and well managed and even though they were busy and had staff in training. Good menu choice and food quality. Accommodation was spotless and very comfortable. Young lady (sorry I didn't catch your name) behind the bar was engaging and took the time for a natter which is a big plus if you are a solo traveller. I had an early start and needed to leave around 0730, breakfast is not usually served until 0900 (which i knew and was happy to skip breakfast) but Corin explained they make an exception for business travellers, I was offered the full breakfast menu ... the scrambled eggs were perfect. Great location, convenient for work in Stokesley but away from it all in quiet setting. I have been looking for a 'go to' as a frequent business traveller to the area and super pleased i gave this one a try. Already booked and looking forward to the next stay in a few weeks. I did compliment in person but it worth repeating; I have worked in hospitality and genuinely, this is how a business should treat their customers ... a massive thanks for everything.

The bed was wonderful. The bathroom and shower better than we had in some 4 star hotels we stayed at in this trip. There was a separate sitting room and bedroom, so rally more than you would expect from a B&B. The host thought of everything - every little detail was flawless. We can’t recommend it enough.

Very clean and cosy hostel in a great location. Welcoming and helpful staff. We arrived on a really wet afternoon after walking the Cleveland Way and were allowed in to the lounge to get warm and dry our extremely wet clothes in the drying room.
