Terrific breakfast. One of the couple who operates the place is a professional chef. There was an elevator for my mobility-impaired husband, even though this was an historic old house, which usually doesn't have such a thing.

Excellent value for money. A clean room quietly away from the inn, and good car park. Nice bed & bedding - a bit too warm on very hot nights, but manageable. Nice teabags; good kettle. Shower & bodywash dispensers adequate. Breakfasts limited but good amounts and nicely done & presented (very slightly greasy).

Small inn off the beaten path and was EXCEPTIONAL !! Food is amazing, staff are incredible, couldn't have been more pleased or enjoyed ourselves more. Unfortunately we were there for a funeral but would reccommend to anyone staying in this area ! You do need a car as it is off the beaten path and essentially impossible to get around without one but WORTH IT IN SPADES !!

Dinner and breakfast food very good - although there was no fruit at breakfast the chef was happy to make me a fresh fruit salad which was excellent.

Great location. The hotel building is well away from the restaurant/clubhouse so was very quiet and had ample, dedicated parking spaces. Great food at reasonable prices. Very pleasant staff.
