We had such a lovely stay at this gorgeous BnB. There was so much attention to detail in the room, which had beautiful decor. We ate at the restaurants both nights. The breakfasts were amazing. Lovely staff too.

Offering free onsite parking, Byrdir House lies in the conservation area of Harlech High Street, 350 yards from Harlech Castle, a 10-minute walk from Royal St. David's Golf Course, and 1.8 miles from Harlech beach. Portmeirion is 8.4 miles from the property, while Blaenau Ffestiniog is 14.5 miles away.

The breakfast was absolutely outstanding: the cooked food was clearly made with high quality produce, the poached eggs were an absolute highlight and a genuine pleasure. We also got dinner one night that was great, and were allowed to bring in takeaway another night (with plates and cutlery graciously provided by the hosts) - Byrdir House's pie dinner was far better than the takeaway, so I'd recommend that. The location is great, close to the close but slightly away from the main tourist stretch. Harlech is a beautiful place for a getaway and even without a car we could visit the beach (be prepared for some uphill walking and sand dunes). The room was very clean, with coffee/ tea provided as well as some biscuits, which were a special treat. The bathroom was surprisingly spacious, and my mom and I made use of the common room/ bar on a few occasions to play some games, research local walks and enjoy some of the local beers and ciders. Adam was a fountain of knowledge and great conversation partner, with versatile interests and expertise. Tracy was an outstanding hostess with great attention to detail and a sunny demeanour, we were thrilled to have met both of them! My mom and I usually travel on a budget and this was as far as we could stretch it, but it was absolutely worth it for the amazing hospitality, food, location and, most of all, Adam's advice to check out the local viewpoint to watch the sunset! We'll be back :-)

Estuary Lodge Motel B&B is located in the quiet village of Talsarnau, in Snowdonia national park, within 5 miles of the coast. The property is conveniently located for guests visiting Mount Snowdon, Portmeirion, the Ffestiniog steam railway and Llechwedd slate caverns for world famous zip rides.

I liked everything: the location for excursions to the famous castles, cleanliness, breakfast and, most importantly, the attitude of the staff and a sincere desire to help and give the best service. Many thanks to Donna and all the staff.

Bryn Teg Barn offers bed and breakfast accommodation in Dyffryn. Free private parking is available on site.

The en-suite double room offers mountain and sea views, and a private lounge. Free WiFi is also available.

The fact this was a repeat stay at Bryn Teg Barn demonstrates just how fabulous this annex and its hosts, Bethan & Keith are. The annex itself is just perfect; rustic, cosy (a log fire!) & spacious with all the amenities one needs. But in addition to that breakfasts are superb and for a little extra Bethan will cook a wonderful meal. Bethan and Keith are so very helpful and just all round lovely people. They gave me lots of tips regarding where I could get some stunning images (I’m a fine art photographer). And let’s not forget those jaw dropping views out over the Lyn peninsula. All in all I heartily recommend Bryn Teg Barn…thanks for a wonderful stay and until next time. 😊

Super lodging, Petra is a phenomenal great host, the room had many luxury touches, very clean. However the food was out of this world. You better make a reservation ahead of time because they are usually fully booked. We really enjoyed our stay. We’ll be back!

lovely location with amazing sea views. The property was equipped with more than expected equipment and had everything we needed if not more. The garden was truly amazing, allowed the kids to enjoy playing around while enjoying the lovely views. The garden and property felt very private and secluded. Also the summer cabin next to the property allowed us all to relax privately more more peace and quiet whilst enjoying the sunrise and sunset, absolutely loved it!!
