The most perfect stay! Every little detail has been thought of here. Beverley was so warm, welcoming and helpful, we were made to feel at home straight away. For travellers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms may be shared by other guests, and there is often shared space with the host.
It was set back away from anything else quiet and private, the pub itself was warm and inviting, staff was absolutely lovely and friendly, we booked the bridal suite for our anniversary it was just perfect, the bath is huge!! Beautiful decor, warm cosy just perfect! I love the fact the rooms are away from the pub too so you get that extra bit of privacy , would highly recommend and will certainly be back!

This was a charming period coaching inn set in a pretty part of north Essex, close to the Suffolk border. Our evening meal and cooked breakfast were very good. The staff were pleasant and helpful. Plenty of parking and nicely decorated room with wet room and shower.
