The location was lovely. Our accommodation was to a high standard & very clean. I liked that there was a microwave & a fridge. It was child friendly. My granddaughter loved playing with the toys. I would book again 😊

Really friendly, welcoming both my son of 9 and our puppy. Exceptional value for money. My son loved the pool table, and our puppy was glued to the real fire. Enjoyed dinner here too - hearty portions of home-made, at extremely reasonable prices.

Wonderful place to stay. Made to feel welcome, by Lisa with lemon drizzle cake. Comfortable beds, nice rooms, seating in the garden, plenty of of parking.
For travellers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms may be shared by other guests, and there is often shared space with the host.
The lodge is on a private estate in a quiet location. It would be advisable to get directions from the owners as our sat nav sent us to the wrong place. It is ideally situated for the interesting puzzlewood and clearwell caves ( closed tues/weds.) Plus other attractions are all near by.
We found the lodge to be comfortable and well equipmented with Netflix available.
All in all a lovely place to stay and we wouldn't hesitate recommending Liberty Lodge.
Stayed with my 5 year old son, the family room was clean and comfortable, we had dinner and breakfast at the pub and both were absolutely amazing, there is a good outside area where my son could run around safely.
Great location for both puzzlewood and the caves, free parking and free WiFi. Staff had a warm and welcoming attitude, if we ever come back to coleford we would definitely stay again. We had the perfect 2 night stay
It was quiet, a great location and I really appreciated the bread, biscuits, tea and coffee on arrival. The house was perfectly located for the Forest of Dean, Puzzlewood, Go Ape and Clearwater caves. Excellent value for money and super comfy beds!
A perfect location and very quiet. Excellent value for money. Room and facilities very comfortable and an excellent breakfast next morning. We also had our evening meal here to a choice of a bar menu which full of choices or you could eat in the restaurant if you wanted something special for your trip. All superb and will recommend all our family and friends to stay here.
