Dating from the 1700's, Old Vicarage B&B is a Grade II listed house, offering accommodation in Coleford, in the Forest of Dean. Free private parking and WiFi is available on site.

You will find a shared lounge at the property with a wood burner. The bed and breakfast is situated in gardens and grounds which guests are able to enjoy, and there is a croquet lawn available in the summer.

This is the perfect combination of history and comfort — the house is beautiful and the garden is picturesque, and the suite of rooms where you stay is beautifully set up and decorated to be both modern and comfortable but still in keeping with the old feel of the home. The owner Kay and her partner Ian were so kind and welcoming, they went above and beyond to ensure we had a good stay. It’s an excellent location for everything in the Forest of Dean and Wye Valley, and so close to Wales and Gloucester. Really this place is not to be missed!

All units in the inn are fitted with a flat-screen TV. With a private bathroom equipped with a shower and free toiletries, rooms at George Inn st briavels also provide guests with a garden view. At the accommodation every room is fitted with bed linen and towels.

The George is a beautiful old property with a lot of history. The pub is amazing. It has a fabulous atmosphere, and was a lovely base to spend a weekend in the Forest of Dean. The room was very comfortable and well equipped. The beams added their own charm to the room, but it was also modern and well decorated. The landlord and the manager were very welcoming, and couldn’t do enough for us. We particularly enjoyed hearing about the history of the pub. We didn’t get the chance to eat at the pub, because we were going out with friends, but the food looked amazing. We will have to return to try it in the near future.

The Kai Pond Annex is a gem! Location is great, private entrance and feels a little like home! Poppy has been a great host and it was lovely to find milk, tea, coffee, fruit and bread which is an added bonus. Also the cream tea offered was excellent! Short walk to the town centre with reasonable eating choices and a supermarket. Highly recommend to stay there and we would return if we were coming back to the area.
