Heidi's Grasmere Lodge, hotel in Eskdale

A charming 19th-century bed and breakfast, Heidi’s Grasmere Lodge offers luxury accommodation in the heart of the Lake District. Car parking available close by in public car parks.

The location is excellent, almost in the center of town. Initially, the heating wasn't working, but it was eventually resolved, and it worked very well. We appreciate the manager's efforts to help, although we didn't let him in as we were already preparing to sleep and the heating had started working. We parked our car just behind the property, which isn't free. We paid £10.5 per night via RingGo, which we found to be a reasonable price.

Great location in a quiet area for a 2 night stay. We travelled in October so a warm and cosy room was very much appreciated. Evening pub food and breakfast, offering sausages for guest dogs. Lovely touch. Friendly staff.

Great location in a quieter part of the lake district with more than enough activities and attractions on your doorstep. We had a long journey to the lake district so we were happy to be able to do walks from the guesthouse and not have to use the car much while we were there. The owners were friendly and helpful and very welcoming to the dog too :) Good breakfast options and a drying room that worked!
