Location was spot on. Climbed Scafell Pike Saturday so stayed the night before. Breakfast hit the spot for the big climb. Views from the beer garden were second to none.

Our stay at the Rainors Farm was extremly relaxing. The view was stunning, there was no noise, just farm animals and birds. Claire was very forthcoming and could read our minds. She made our stay just perfect! The homemade breakfast was excellent!

For travellers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms may be shared by other guests, and there is often shared space with the host.
Fabulous food, truly excellent breakfast and we also ate in the hotel bar both nights of our stay. Great menu and delicious food. Hotel is in a beautiful location. The room was so quiet and had great nights sleep.
Great location in a quiet area for a 2 night stay. We travelled in October so a warm and cosy room was very much appreciated. Evening pub food and breakfast, offering sausages for guest dogs. Lovely touch. Friendly staff.
Beautiful hotel with periodic look. Everything I needed for a long weekend peace, quiet and everything on call that I needed.
The room was clean and spacious and the restaurant and bar first class.
We absolutely loved the food in the restaurant.
Great location for lakes and fells.
Great location in a quieter part of the lake district with more than enough activities and attractions on your doorstep. We had a long journey to the lake district so we were happy to be able to do walks from the guesthouse and not have to use the car much while we were there. The owners were friendly and helpful and very welcoming to the dog too :) Good breakfast options and a drying room that worked!
