The host was very welcoming and friendly and gave us lots of tips about trips in the area. The beds were very comfortable and the whole feel of the place was cosy and homely. We had a peaceful and relaxing time and slept really well. The carrot cake in the cafe is the best I have ever tasted! The views from the bedrooms was delightful. Our highlights in the area were the evening walk from Craster to Dunstanburgh, Alnwick Castle and Bamburgh castle. We wished we could have stayed longer!

The staff are so friendly, it’s in a great location with a nearby bus stop. I got the bus to Seahouses one day and Alnmouth the next and both days walked back along the coastal path. The food is really good (especially the mixed seafood curry). The beach is heavenly and quiet even in the heatwave. The garden is lovely for a post walk pint. So much choice for breakfast! Bedroom lovely and clean, and quiet. Would definitely look to stay again next time am in the area. Thank you Dunstanburgh castle?
