Fabulous property; beautiful large room; very comfortable bed and great shower. Our host Heather was delightful and knowledgeable. Breakfast was delicious with fresh, local products. Fantastic location to cafes and other eateries in the village and perfect location from which to explore the area. We can understand why Heather has regular clients and repeat visits.

I really enjoyed the wonderful view from the window. The hotel is very quiet and everything was perfect. The diner with view on the seaside was much appreciated. It is close from the harbour, the city centre. There is a wonderful walk to do. the John Muir Way and the beaches are very close.

Couldn't miss - this room was right on top of the scenic shoreside in a private lawn area shared with 3 other hot-tub rooms. Easy bird-watching! Tables on the lawn for our use only - only intrusion was the chatty groundsman with his strimmer! Restaurant (a conservatory with good sea views) was really good and managed the quieter days just as efficiently as the busy ones. Didn't inhabit the bar but it was easy to get drinks any time.
