Beautiful setting with great hosts. Helpful, but not overbearing. Price did not include breakfast, however there were many items provided for breakfast for our 4 night stay. Spacious, mini apartment, with room to move, separate living room/ kitchen, hallway and en-suite. We'll laid out, cozy decor. All of the details were well thought out. Kitchen with small fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster, all cups, glasses, dishes, cutlery, corkscrew, etc. All spotlessly clean, overlooking fields and a beautiful garden, which was ours to enjoy!

We absolutely enjoyed our stay at this cute, historic castle in the country. The owner of the castle/property was wonderful and showed some of the restoration they have performed while we were there. Our breakfast was served in our room by the host which was very nice. We loved our stay here!

Great location. Very quiet at end of road, right on sea front. We even had our own small beach outside of the cottage. A very comfortable cottage which we enjoyed and our two dogs were very comfortable there too. Good size kitchen dining room and lounge.

Rural location, but within a couple of minutes drive to Dalbeattie. Clean, quiet, small but perfectly formed, everything we needed to be self-sufficient for a couple of nights. including a small fridge. Thoughtful extras such as cotton wool, tissues, cleanser, moisturiser, magazine. Welcome pack of food for breakfast - yoghurt, cereal, juice, bread, milk, fresh fruit and shortbread. Close to the lovely Solway Coast at Kippford. There was also a garden area to sit out in the sunshine with a glass of wine.

A beautiful, old fashioned B&B. It’s just off the road but manages to be private, quiet and out of the way. The staff were fantastic, dinner and breakfast were exactly what I was after for my trip up to the NC500.

This lodge is exceptional both in location and standard of accommodation. In a very quiet private location on the park. The hosts added personal finishing touches - cake of choice ,milk and a wide selection of teas and coffee. Beds were really comfortable. Towels were included which was a bonus. Will definatley book again.
