Lovely welcome from our host, Chris, who was lovely with our grandson, showing him the family guinea pigs. The family room we had was huge, with a spacious en suite. Everything was super clean, and breakfast was served to the conservatory table; a tray piled with cereals, fruit, yogurts, toast and warm croissants was plentiful, and the coffee was fresh and refills were happily provided. Chris also catered for a gluten free eater with gf crumpets and granola. The house is a one minute walk from all the shops and places to eat in Braunton-, which is a really nice village. Off road parking was useful, and the gorgeous beaches at Saunton Sands and Croyde Bay area both only a 10-15 minute drive away.

Situated centrally so easy walking distance to shops, restaurants etc. Main house is on the main road but this annexe is situated behind the house and we heard no road noise at all. Lovely, modern, roomy accommodation, clean and beautifully decorated. Nothing was too much trouble for the host.

Housed in a historic building, the recently renovated The Smugglers Rest offers accommodation with water sports facilities and free WiFi. Boasting barbecue facilities, the bed and breakfast is close to several noted attractions, around less than 1 km from Rockham Beach, 1.8 km from Woolacombe Beach and 2 km from Bull Point Lighthouse. The accommodation features room service and bicycle parking for guests.

From the moment of arrival exhausted after walking from Combe Martin I knew I had been fortunate to choose the Smugglers Rest as my place for a day off on the South West Coast Path to rest and recuperate and catch up on work. A very warm welcome, Will offering to carry my bags to the room and a lovely room were just the start. Miss Fea's Bistro is a great restaurant and I was lucky to get a table for both nights of my stay as it is packed out most nights and the menu is amazing, breakfast was also superb both mornings of my visit. What Will and Stacey have done gave me vibes of a place visited on Dartmoor more than 20 years ago which was the best weekend with my best mate and his wife. It is just lovely and I feel very lucky to have been able to experience what they have created. I do not need to head back to Mortehoe as my journey of the South West Coast Path continues a week at a time over the next 3 years or so but can't wait to visit again and hopefully bring my daughters so they can experience the amazing hospitality.

The Seagate is a 17th-century hotel situated in the village of Appledore, overlooking the Torridge estuary. It offers bed and breakfast accommodation in individually furnished rooms, with the inn serving real ale and cider alongside an extensive food menu with local seafood specialities.

Amazing location with a fantastic view of the harbour and of Instow opposite. Beautifully decorated, clean rooms with really comfortable beds and lovely additions including proper coffee and biscuits, lovely scented bathroom products, and additional snacks available for a small fee. Attached to a lovely pub with really friendly staff, and a great quiz every Sunday! Would return to stay here every time. We loved it.

The property itself is spacious, light, well equipped and very clean. It's in a small quiet village with great access to the coast. We toured North Devon. The hosts' parent lives next door and was on hand for any queries/advice. We would without hesitation go back to the property - in fact we didn't want to leave!

Andrew is a great host and the annex had everything I needed for an amazing stay in beautiful Croyde. A short walk took me into the village and a little further to the beach!

Great location. Great value for money. Staff very friendly and helpful. We wanted something inexpensive and basic for an overnight surf trip. Enjoyed the pool and steam room. No luxury but brilliant at being as advertised. Perfect for our needs in this occasion.

Great location, easy to walk to town and private path directly to beach. Unexpectedly free facilities great for kids, especially the fun mini golf and the nice warm pool, sauna, hot tub, etc. Can use all day, even after check out. Perfect to contrast the cold grey rain on the beach! Some facilities a little tired, but overall well maintained, simple and clean.

Great location for beaches, especially Saunton Sands, and the Brauton Burrows. The addition of the car park pass for Putsborough was fabulous 👌 as its very expensive, but definitely our favourite beach. The house was lovely, clean, modern and comfy. With a great little sunny garden and deck. The location was lovely and quiet too. And hosepipe was a bonus to wash off the dogs after being on the beach.

The quality and standard of the house was fantastic and in a great location too. Loved the peace and quiet around, and the hot tub was a great addition. Only wish we could have stayed longer. Bathrooms are stunning.
