What a lovely place, so glad we discovered it. Annette is fab and her breakfasts are amazing. She’s a very welcoming host and the BnB is absolutely superb, as are the views south towards York. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.

nice place to stay and to use as base to make daytrips in the area. good restaurants nearby, also walking distance. bathroom is private but not ensuite, which was not a problem for us as we were the only guests, breakfast is continental with lot of fresh fruit and warm croissant, which was fine after more then a week eggs, sausages, black pudding etc :)

Such a charming home, so pretty. Liz is so welcoming as was our cozy room. Breakfast was delicious and included granola, fresh fruit, yoghurt, ham, cheese, fresh pastries and lovely homemade bread. The little gift shop has some beautiful items for the home as well as some really pretty jewellery. We only stayed one night but would have loved to have stayed longer! We have booked to stay again and are really looking forward to it.

The B&B was delightful. We arrived a little early but our room was made ready for us. It was a lovely old house with many interesting features. The room was comfortable and though there was no ensuite we did have a private bathroom. Superb breakfast with lovely fresh fruit and freshly baked bread.

Excellent breakfast - we don't always want a cooked breakfast and so this selection of fresh fruit, warm home-made bread, pastries, yoghurt etc were just the job. The toiletries supplied in the bathroom were a lovely surprise. Pretty garden to sit in and enjoy scones, cream and jam on arrival at Rumah. Excellent stay, thank you.
