Located in Edinburgh, Six Brunton Place Guest House is a historic bed and breakfast that provides free WiFi, and guests can enjoy a garden and a terrace.

Six Brunton Place is very quiet and is on a moderately busy street. It is residential with a park leading to Calton Hill just across the street! The continental breakfast they laid out for us was superb and a good quality selection of food.We liked the comfy bed and the bathroom with large tub and shower had everything we needed, including a heated towel rack! They also had a walk out to private garden on the same floor.Very friendly owners!

Laird And Dog Inn, hotel in Cockenzie

The Laird And Dog is located in the Midlothian village of Lasswade, 15 minutes’ drive from Edinburgh. It offers a conservatory-style restaurant, rooms with free Wi-Fi and free parking.

Shannon was particularly lovely and extremely helpful, the food was exceptional, the location was great, bus stop right outside and 35 minute bus ride takes you to the Royal mile. Live music on Saturday night, even though I had to go to bed early, I knew there would be live music downstairs and I thoroughly enjoyed them singing me to sleep. Breakfast was gorgeous in the gorgeous big conservatory. Left my car in the car park as I got the bid in the the Remembrance Day events. My little single room was clean, warm and comfortable, glad I had a kettle to make a cuppa while I got ready. Nothing was too much bother to the staff, enjoyed my time in the bar, watching the rugby and so much nicer than sitting in a Travelodge room on my own!! I will be back and am recommending this perfect Inn to anyone who will listen to me. Had a nice walk in the morning, over to the river and park etc, love it!!

Great location, though not in edinburgh ,it was easy to get to the city center by bus, the sea just outside the house for morning run and swim, and the view! Great pub just beside and local port and the likes. Hosts were extremely great and flexible with checking in time, and even questions were answered quickly and helpful Definitely a great start to our scotish vacation!
