18:09 I booked this hotel because me and my friend were going to Alton Towers and it was only a ten minute drive away so was perfect for us. After a fantastic but long day at Alton Towers we drove to the hotel. We received a warm welcome from Louise who went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect. Nothing was too much trouble Louise explained everything to us and showed us to our room which was lovely and clean and had everything we needed for a good night's sleep. I woke up to a beautiful view of cows in the field which was lovely to see first thing on a morning. We headed down for breakfast the next morning. Lots of continental breakfast tochoose from while Louise made the perfect full English breakfast. We had a lovely chat with Louise over breakfast before leaving for another day at Alton towers. I highly recommend this B and B and we will definitely be visiting again. Thank you Louise for making our stay lovely. Laura and Sean xx

Friendly host that gave us plenty of information prior to our arrival, very clean and easy to find. We also added a single airbed as we took our 6 year old with us. Great location for Alton towers.

Great location for the southern Peak District, in a pleasant and functional barn. We only met any of the owners very briefly on check-in and appreciated the complimentary hamper of brownies, coffee, milk and fruits. The venue was quieter than expected for a working farm (just one moderately vocal cow, which still wasn't too loud) and the chance to see the cows and a few other animals near the cottage was a fun treat.

Very reasonably priced and great location for Alton Towers. It suited us perfectly for a couple of nights and Agnes was a great host. No bar or restaurant other than breakfast included, but with the high street a minutes walk away and 2 supermarkets within walking distance it allowed us to stock up on alcohol for the adults without breaking the bank and plenty of takeaway options which we could eat in our room or in the lovely garden when the sun-shined in the evening.

The friendly and welcoming vibe from the owners was brilliant, a welcome change from the "my job is customer service" smile and feel. The bed and breakfast was comfortable and homely, and the grounds are beautiful. The TV channels were great and the signal for the area for TV and mobile phone are good too. I highly recommend this bed and breakfast for those who want a quieter and blissful time.
