The owners were very friendly and helpful. We were made very welcome on arrival. The room was lovely with a very nice shower unit. Comfy bed and a nice hospitality tray for tea / coffee etc. Breakfasts were very good and nicely made. Everything was well thought out and spotlessly clean. We'd not been to this specific part of Cornwall and the owners gave us some recommendations for places to visit, all of which turned out to be good choices. "Charlestown" is very close and is a stunning little coastal town with one of the most inspiring harbours we've seen yet. The more recent episodes of "Poldark" were filmed there as we understand and it has the right look, with real sailing ships moored. Parking was easy and the views were literally stunning. We visited both nights that we were staying. First night we ate at "The Rashleigh Arms" and enjoyed the food there. The harbour is surrounded with a number of little eating and drinking places so "al-fresco" was definitely the thing and we ate at one of them the second night. A lovely experience. We also went to "St Mawes". A lovely place again. Not to be missed. We were lucky with the weather .... wall-to-wall sun and blue skies but Cornwall can be lovely at any time. Penarth was a nice place to stay and we would do again.

It was a unique experience to stay on a veteran working yacht. Far more comfortable than initially expected and quiet in the night too. It is in a great location with plenty to do and explore in the immediate vicinity and a good base for slightly further afeild. The hosts were extremely helpful as were the neighbouring residents and a big thank you to them all for the opportunity to stay somewhere different. A very enjoyable time was had by all.

When we arrived at the Cottage it was very clean and had everything you needed for your stay and we felt comfortable there from the minute we arrived. Great location for getting around Cornwall and there was a lovely private beach within the estate that took about 10 minutes to get to. When we arrived there was even some treats for our dog waiting which were v.much enjoyed by him! The owners were very friendly too and easy to communicate with
