Lovely place run by a lovely guy. Bath room could do with a spruce up and details about parking more clear but overall the place was fab for what we needed it for.

Room was big and clean, with lovely en suite bathroom. The breakfast was tasty (especially homemade bread and jam!) and the host was very accommodating, even when we required breakfast very early (and I locked us out later in the day!)

Perfect location for exploring Glastonbury and a cosy retreat to return to at the end of the day.

For travellers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms may be shared by other guests, and there is often shared space with the host.
Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was quiet and comfortable; I even had a semi-private patio in the garden where I could enjoy the evening sunshine. Food was well prepared and promptly served.
The Bower is a little out of town, which made it quiet and easy for parking. The motorway is nearby but you can hardly hear it. The Inn itself is really quaint and staff were genuine and friendly. Our room had everything we needed for an overnight stay. I liked that we were offered a cooked breakfast of our choice, rather than a Continental one. I really enjoyed my dinner in the restaurant downstairs, so convenient.
Great location, about half an hour drive from the main walks and places to visit around that area of Somerset.
Hosts were very discreet, smooth check-in with no meeting required.
Lovely quiet apartment, comfortable super king bed was appreciated!
Heating working well with local thermostat available.
Lots of light and air from the many windows around the apartment, all facing green spaces.
Kitchen provided to cook your own meal.
We wanted accomodation with parking and at a reasonable price. The Annexe far exceeded our expectations.
It was spotlessly clean and tidy. It had all the luxury and comforts of a home from home. The countryside views from triple aspect living area were amazing. It was so quiet, no traffic noise.
All on one level with a walk-in shower.
The Annexe is well placed for exploring all Somerset and beyond.
Highly recommended.
Excellent location.Quaint old hotel/ pub with lots of character. charming rooms on various levels. Excellent breakfast served by Kim who worked very hard and was very pleasant.
