Harry was a superb host. Very comfortable and well equipped rooms. Superb breakfasts. Boat of Garten is a very quiet village and very well placed to explore the Cairngorms from. Will definitely choose The Boat House Guesthouse to stay next time.

The home is in a lovely, quiet, pastoral area. We had a car so easy access to town. Walking would be challenging. Room was lovely. Breakfast was fantastic! Host was off the property when we checked in but provided excellent directions and instructions. Was very responsive to my queries.

For travellers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms may be shared by other guests, and there is often shared space with the host.
The caravan is in a great location. Nice and quiet. It has everything you would you need and was a good base for our family at nights after a busy day exploring and visiting local attractions in the area. The bathrooms were nice and clean.
Cosy, warm static caravan on a quiet holiday park in a great location. Despite 50 mph winds and heavy rain we felt nice and secure! It was clean on arrival with most of what we needed for self-catering. It was good to have some games, DVDs and local information. Great to have a second toilet. Plenty of hot water and shower did the job. LOADS of storage space. A great spot for exploring the local area - we would have like to have stayed longer.

I travelled by scotrail then strathspey line, site was easy to find from the station.
Great location. Very new and in great condition. Two toilets and shower and bath. Quiet but in easy walking distance of two restaurants and within a short drive to Aviemore.
Harry is great host and you can have wonderful conversations with him. The breakfast is very generous and delicious. The rooms were quiet and the location is good for Boat of Garten. We ate at Anderson's at Harry's recommendation, located just a couple minutes away, and it was one of the best meals of our whole trip (though not cheap)!
