We had great discussions with Michael and really enjoyed his company and our visit to the Mill House. Michael suggested a nice walk around the property and town, which we did and the walk was very pleasant. in addition, the Mill House is convenient to the major tourist sites in the area. I highly recommend the Mill House.

The staff were super accommodating when we had a delay in getting there and they even made us dinner right before the kitchen closed. The room was very homey, bed/linens were comfortable, instructions were clear, breakfast was free, and we had everything we needed.

Both mornings we were there the breakfast was lovely and served with a smile. On both mornings my full English kept going for most of the day. The fact that the dog was welcome in any part of the establishment meant a great deal.

The room was spacious, even for a family of four, and the mattress was so comfortable. Everything was very clean, and the kids appreciated having their own beds. The location is convenient as well - within a 10 minute walk, there is a great breakfast/lunch place (Cuckoo), a fantastic restaurant that kids and grownups both loved (Nole), and a small grocery co-op.
