A very nice couple greeted us (although they hadn't noted our booking) and made us feel at home. Their spa in the garden on a lovely evening made our brief stay very pleasant. The breakfast was excellent.

We liked everything. The setting is breathtaking and so peaceful. The lake in the distance, the beautifully restored house, the spacious bedroom and the relaxed atmosphere give a sense of well being to the whole experience. Martine and Hubert are so welcoming and helpful. The breakfast is lovely and you feel a part of a family of visitors. There is a great restaurant only down the road which offered seafood and pizza. Walking home by torchlight and a full moon was a beautiful experience.

We were warmly welcomed and the host showed us around the facilities.
The accommodation was spotlessly clean. Although the bathroom and toilet facilities were shared with other guests, something we were made aware of in advance, the arrangement was carefully thought out with each guest room being allocated their own bath mat, drying rack and cupboard space. There were also facilities to sanitise the toilet if required and there were separate, labelled hand towels for each room.
The house was in a very quiet and idyllic location, with beautiful, spacious gardens which the hosts encouraged guests to use. A hot tub was available for an additional charge.
Breakfast was copious and included a selection of delicious home-made jams, cakes, as well as fresh bread and croissants, coffee and orange juice. As the weather was very good during our stay, we were able to eat "al fresco".
The atmosphere was relaxed and friendly. We made friends with the very well behaved family dog!
Offering an outdoor pool, heated from June to September and views of the pool, Le Clos du Gusquel is situated in Plescop, 9 km from Vannes. Guests have free access to the sauna.

The kindness of the host, who extraordinarily welcomed my girlfriend and I after the usual check in time.
The magnificent and quite surrounding, immersed in Brittany's forests and fields.
The area location itself, just a handful minute drive from Carnac and other key sites of Morbihan.
The breakfast was beyond expectation, with high quality jams, yoghurt and bread/croissants.
Additionally, and this can't be overstated, the cleanliness and comfort of the room. We sojourned in the room "feet in the water".
For the price we paid, it has been a very pleasant surprise.

Very quiet and peaceful, Éliane and JJ very helpful, we had a few problems with understanding each other as we only had a little French and they had a little English.
The apartment is very spacious. And the location is really good, the city center is just a few meters awy. The kitchen has everything you need. And the host was very kind and friendly. Although she spoke nothing but French and we don't speak French at all, we managed to agree on eveything in the end.
Not only was the lovely house very good for our stay. But the host was also very emphatic and nice! During our stay our toddler got sick and the host helped us immediately to find the medical support needed. Further to this he asked if she was doing better and offered us to take our time at the departure day so that we were able to take care of our daughter without being stressed with packing. We believe this is extremely kind and appreciated this very much. The house is very quiet and in a good spot to visit the surroundings as well.
