All you need to experience Sologne region in summer - house is located in nice, old village Salbris. There is nice swimming pool to refresh in hot summer day. Nice yard to relax and drink some vine in evening. Everything about the building, the room, the decor was amazing!. Our large room was called Fleur - de - Lys and had a separate room for the bathroom/ shower. Plenty of towels, hand towels and flannels. Tea and coffee and water available in the room if needed. The bed and linen are spot on for a comfortable restful sleep. Air con in the rooms was great as it was 31 degrees. Breakfast was delicious. A range of croissants, breads, jams, fruits, yoghurts, cheeses, and hams and other foods on offer. Lots of fresh coffee and tea available. We were able to use the pool which was sorted for us by Bruno. We had the most fabulous dinner in the evening which was absolutely delicious and cooked by Bruno who I understand has many years experience as a chef!. We had wonderful people staying at the same time who joined us for the set dinner. Trust me, the food is really really good. Delightful hosts!. The best stay on our travels across Europe.

A lovely converted farm house and nothing was too much trouble for the owner Clemence who was charming and efficient. Excellent pool and spa and electric bikes. The position is first class for easy cycling just 50 metres from the canal cyclepath.
For travellers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms may be shared by other guests, and there is often shared space with the host.
We had their menu for dinner and it was excellent, a very good breakfast with a good selection. The beds are very comfortable. The shower works well and the room was very clean.

A great location very easy to reach from the motorway. An imposing classic appearance reached via a tree-lined drive and extensive grounds to walk in including their own forest. Nice rooms and a fantastic restaurant, and a bar with a good range of drinks including two draft beers (Leffe Blonde and a local pale hoppy beer).
I stayed here in 2008, it’s still as good as before, having been refurbished about 5 years ago. It’s an ideal place to stop over en route to the south, about 6 hours from Calais and much less than that from Caen or St Malo.
The location is perfect for a stopover when driving through France, The welcome is friendly and efficient, the hotel is charming and in a beautiful setting. The restaurant is excellent.

Perfect, quiet, well located accommodation. very secure, very quaint. We were driving South and this was about half way, we used it on the way down and again on the way back.
Salbris is a lovely little town, so once you arrive, its a good place to have a wonder around and get a drink in one of the local bars.
Also there is an excellent bakery close by.
