We were warmly greeted by Julian the owner of this superb property. The room was absolutely beautiful and exceeded our expectations. Very spacious with large shower and bathroom area. Spotlessly clean too. Large comfy bed. Lovely views of the valley. The pool area was very pretty and also overlooked the valley. Lots of lovely outside areas to sit and relax in and enjoy the countryside. Parking was a big bonus for us on our road trip. Nothing was too much trouble for Julian. Perfect host. Continental Breakfast was delicious. Wish all the places we stay in was as amazing as this one. Many thanks Julian. We will return.

It was beautiful, so quiet and peaceful in the French countryside Our host Veronica and Jaime we’re so nice and accommodating. Everything was clean and working properly. The breakfast was outstanding. It is Close to Saint- Emilion an historic village that was a must see.

The hostess was super helpful and informative of the region. The room was clean and comfortable. Hostess was flexible and creative with our breakfast diet requirements (gluten free vegetarian). Could not ask for more from a hostess.

Rachel made us feel very welcome and had good suggestions. We went for a lovely walk along the Dordogne, we went to the river beach and we enjoyed our dinners in local outdoor restaurants. Castillon-la-Bataille is a nice little town with very few tourists. Rachel's house is beautiful and the breakfasts on the balcony tasty (nice bread!) and pleasant.
